Difference b/w Mav XL and Mav XLT

Hi,

Our family mav got pinched the other week, sad moment, had it since new.

It was a 93 LWB Wagon, XLT, good cond, TB42, 33 MTR's and a 2 inch EFS kit.

Insurance are offering 6.5k replacement, but I think that might be a bit shy, as I want a series II GQ or late model Mav again.

They are trying to tell us the XT is the same, but i'm not sure it is. All I really wanted was power everything, nice carpet and good trim spec seats.

Is there a difference b/w these, so I can tell the insurance co to fork out more? Cheers

from what i've heard/seen the XLT is the equivalent of a TI and a XT is a lower spec model. Hope the pricks pay out for out 4 ya. they dont mind taking the premiums do they...

xlt was top spec not sure on differences though.
redbook doesn't list an xlt wagon though only the shorty xlt shortys had a sunroof in most cases........ bout the only difference that comes to mind.
hit em up for more they are hard to find at that price.

AFAIK

XL = Base model eg. Manual windows, cloth trim.

XLT = up spec model eg. power windows, better trim etc.

Cheers,

Micko

Cheers guys, thanks.

Had some one tell me today they think the XLT is the WSB version of the XL (top spec) LWB wagon. Will keep looking.

Yeah I know, had that car in the family for 16 years, with no intention of selling it soon. I hope they choke.
