Vitara diff ratio help

A friend has just bought a 1989 1.6 litre carbi Vitara that has a welded rear diff in it. I'm just wondering what ratio it would be as i've been told there are 2 ratios but no one can tell me what one it has without pulling it out.

I'm after another centre for it but we don't want to have to pull the centre (to get the ratio) until we have another to put in.

If anyone has any ideas i'm all ears. :D

Cheers Mick.

It's manual mate.

Are you selling just the centres or the whole diff?

carby manual= 5.12
carby auto= 4.6

AFAIK all 1.6 EFI Vitaras are 5.12

V6's and 2.0 EFI's are different again. 4.6/4.8 form memory but i could be wrong.
