G’day I’m the process of putting a chev into my gq, I had planned to use a CRS adapter but can’t get one for three weeks still needs to be cast up and machined. So I can get a dellow adapter right now
But I’ve got a few questions are they a similar in width to the CRS adapter, are there any problems People have had setting up the clutch. I’m using an 11’’ flywheel and from what I’ve found in the search is I may have to relieve the adapter for clearance is this true. Or should i wait and use the CRS adapter, i have searched and found both good and bad about both makes.
Thanks Daniel

3 on the marks put one in a f350 behind a 6.2 chev diesel mated to gq 5speed and no issue at all truck weighs in a 5.2t
if that wont break it its good gear.
had crs and dellos before and have had probs with some kits fittting etc

yeah i'm not to keen on the dellow adapter, im installing a ZZ383 so it's a later model chev (centre bolt rocker cover's) with a one piece rear main and 3'' pcd fly wheel , im not sure if the distance varies from the bellhousing face to the flywheel face between early and late chev's. I'm not sold on the Marks kit either it look's like it puts the motor to far foward in the egine bay and is better suited to the LS series engine's. is there enough clearance for a toyota cluch fan set up and radiator up there?. i have read about concentricty issues with the Marks spider set up is this correct? . I don't mind paying more coin for an adapter as long as it does the correct job.Thank's for the help

Cheers Daniel
and yes this is a late night reply got plate's on the car today and have been going all arvo stripping the engine bay out getting ready for some real power .
