Cruiser mod questions

I'm in the process of coiling my 73 series and have a couple of random questions.

1. How far can you move the front diff forward before you run into problems with tyres hitting the front cab mount (no bigger than a 37").

2. I've been told that angling top mounts of shocks inboard on car can make it more rolly. Is there any downside to angling the tops of them forward? Or is it better to have them as perpendicular to ground as possible?

My diff is about 40mm forward, with 35'' pedes I just hit the passenger side mount on stock diffs with an extra 33mm off offset of stock

only problem i ran into was the tie rod and drag link would foul if you go to farr forward. i only went 25mm forward to clear 36"s and i still have heaps of room to move
