V6 vitara..

Looking at geting a little 4x4..
Have had a carby 1.6L Vitara in the past & was very happy with it.
Was more capable then people give them credit for..
Looking at a bit more power so looking at a V6 how is the reliablity of these motors?
Which is the strongest between the 2L or 2.5L?
Are any parts common between the two?
