GQ SWB Sway Bars needed or not i was flexing the other day and my sway bar ripped out of its mounting brackets and my truck now flexes alot more yes it dose sound like a good idea to leave them out but i am worried that it might not be good for other suspension and steering components has anyone else done this?
also my truck has 2" tough dog lift and 2" body with 35's

from my perspective, the stability is worth it, considering you only loose a small amount of "flex".
But take them out, and see how you like it.

ive pulled my sway bars out of every thing ive ever had. but id much rather have to go around coners a bit slower and get the extra inches of flex off road.
but its all depends on what your doin none of mine have ever been daily drivers.
and also removing sway bars is ilegal up here in qld.

sway bars are a good idea, but the bloody nissan sway bars are so thin they are almost not worth it.
Ive seen corolla ones twice the thickness..

I've always removed my front swaybars completely, sometimes the rear bar is off as well but I'm towing regularly so it's on at the moment.
Might pay to check into insurance or liability issues though, as previous threads have indicated that if you're at fault for having a smash and they inspect your tonka toy....and find swaybar/s removed
- could get tricky.

If you feel you have to remove them, it would be wise to attach the springs top and bottom. It helps heaps on bad side hills and also means your coils won't fall out.

I removed both on my SWB years ago.
As mentioned above, you get a bit more body roll but it is worth it.
Cheers,
