does rotating tailshaft 180 degrees do anything?

i have heard of this a few times, am curious if it actually acomplishes anything.

it can go 360 degrees, Little more effective than 180

:D

I think he means unbolt it rotate it 180* so its running back to front.

It just makes the outer part clear on one of the cross members. Thought it was only the front drive shaft though.

you do it so that at full droop your tailshaft doesn't contact the crossmember.

not really that important unless you have a large lift.

Yep I flipped mine on a GQ wagon with 6" + 35"s as when at full flex it rubbed against the crossmember, even though it's not all the time it's a bit more preventitive maintenance as when rubbing it puts extra force onto the uni's therefore helping to shorten their life span, imho.
