That's wierd, hope you had a compressor handy.

Its a bit of trial and error to get them set, you will need to wind them in a bit and test on a full tyre until you get them right.

by adjusting the low ring and the top screw you can change the pressure. best bet is to pump a spare tyre up and re set them.just pump the tyre up to whatever pressure you want and set them.

Screw the lock ring all the way in... then the 'adjusting' part, this adds the most preload to the spring and thus a higher pressure is required to overcome the spring tension.

Grab your tyre pressure gauge, and adjust the tyre down to want to you want the stauns set at using twigs, keys, etc and then pop the staun on and wind out the adjusting nut until you hear the air coming out then tighten it up a touch, it is now set at the pressure you set using the tyre gauge (heopfully) and you can tighten up the lock ring. Pump the tyre back up, screw the staun on and when it stop hissing check the pressure and adjust if required, repeat until your happy its set to the pressure you want.

1 full rotation of the adjusting nut equal 6psi i think, so grab a scribe and put a scratch on the adjusting nut and on the body so you have a reference point :)

I had a set do this to me up the beach one night. I hadn't used this set in about a year. Could have been lack of use? In any case I think I know what you did wrong. You're supposed to screw them on, save your wacking for shower time. :D

Yeah that was a great run through DJ, mine slowly get lower in pressure, but have never gotten that bad.

^^^^^^^^^ Was wondering how long till this turned into a Stuan bashing thread.

Have had mine for 3 years now, only ever had a 1psi variance. I would reccommend them to those that ask about them. Also a bit of silicon spray will help keep them from sticking open

takes to long, one wheel at a time. If u use one of these u might as well save ur dough and use a stick.

Obviously you have never used one :D

Great bit of gear, i would challenge your stauns for time it takes and accuracy...
