SWB Patrols are great. They are definitely better off-road than the Nav would be but they are not really the off-road weapon in stock form that some people will tell you they are.
Be warned they are not too practical at all with two doors and not a lot of space, I ended up getting sick of my lack of cargo space and got a LWB even though the SWBs look heaps better and are more manoeuvrable. And faster too, the petrol shorties are actually fairly quick although they're still a bit thirsty.
If you find you use your ute a lot
as a ute then you'll get frustrated with the SWB Patrol. But if you use the ute more like a car and don't carry stuff with it a lot, you will find the patrol fine. Just my thoughts, others will have theirs

Are you sure about 180hp out of a 2.8t ??
Looks like a good rig with plenty of mods all the best.

well been driving the patrol around and its pretty good, one thing i have a hard time getting used to is the power steering, it comes back so slowly, probably becuase of the steering damper, but my question is it good or bad if i take out the damper??? And if i do the power steering should be normal again right??
Cheers

well with my limited experience, i would advise you to get a damper with a coil spring around it, (return to center damper?) they help with controling the bigger tyres.

That will fight him turning the beast as well.
The poor steering return to centre is probably more a solid axle thing when comparing the Patrol to a Navara.
