brakes overhaul

Anyone got any tips for replacing the discs and caliper kits on a GU.
I have worked on brakes before motorbikes etc. I know the bleed from furthest to closest to master cyl. I thought i'd read somewhere about blocking the hoses at each caliper before taking them off, is this a good idea ( i think so 'cos then less air in and the bleed will be easier? )
Is it possible to remove front discs with out taking off hub?

Any ideas

Thanks

Andrew

Hope this helps, clamp your lines before removing callipers ( clamps available from auto stores) this will prevent fluid loss from your master cyl (youll have to bleed this as well if you run out of fluid). Dont know about the discs

Somtimes it is good to replace ALL the fluid too though.
