siera lsd on lwb

was there ever a siera lsd , mainly fitted to the tray back moddels.

when i jack the rear of mine of the ground, i spin one wheen and the other wheel goes the same way, but if i spinn the other wheel the oposite side goes the oposite way.

what does this meen,?

I believe there may have been a jap version with an lsd but not until the Sierra had been replaced or nearly replaced, never release in Oz. would have thought an lsd would spin the same regardless of which wheel was spun. Maybe your centre has an issue.

or a detroit lokka as there clutch plates instead of clunky noisy teeth :D ...

Correct. An LSD will make both wheels spin together the same dirrection. My brother has an LSD in the back of his chopped SWB. Works okay but its not a locker.

Known 2, im not sure whats happening there with your diff. If it was locked or LSD both wheels would spin the same way when you jacked it up and spun them, regardless of which dirrection or wheel you spun.

yeh its got me and the mechanics confused.

will have to pull it apart soon anyway, theres a masive amount of backlash. would be nice if it was some weird lsd.
