do you guys think it feasable to stretch a swb to say a bit over lwb lengtha bit of work yes engineer nearly convinced

easier to find a LWB chassis, they pop up now and then if you look hard enough

been trying to find a wide track lwb hard to source waited 6 mths to get narrow track chassis,but i have a wide track swb chassis doing nothing ,i did see photos of one about a year os so on here but it was done as a dual cab think it was a american custom built.looked awsome

Why would you want to extend a WT chassis? The wider spring spacing makes them a less desirable chassis to work with.

wanting to replace the lwb wt chassis on my maruti trayback it is nearly completley shagged from farm duties and the previous owner had repairs done (welding done alot better than the original factory)so wanting to replace it,what i meant by engineer nearly convinced was a comparison to the jeep kit the av i think so we were working along those lines like every modification now it was done ,has to be thought out drawn out and of a high standard as you would be aware it is a long process to move forward thanks

this is as far as i got then i scored a lwb they do come around once in awhile

i fishplated mine and joined them like this << then put the plates over the top of them.

this was the method i used but ideally you should drill 1-2 holes in the fishplate for plug welds to the chassis. The fishplate should be at least twice the length of the vertical height of the chassis.

thanks short stuff and mrrocky love the ideas ,can never get too much information great pics just givin me a few more ideas and short stuff NEWTONS LAW WHEN YOU DONT NEED ONE THEY COME FROM EVERYWHERE maybe i could get lucky but will continue with option A
