Efi Fuel Regulator for LS1

Ok got my fuel pump sorted for my Ls1 to Hzj80 cruiser conversion but I can't find a regulator with a fuel return built in to it. Does one exist or is there a trick to use a standard fuel regulator? I have seen a standard Ls1 corvette filter/regulator with a fuel return as it is built for the ls1 but can't source them in Aus which will suck when it's time to replace it.
Any tips?

'T' piece and a malpassisi reg. Cheap regs suck arse worse than elton john's dressing room staff before a show

60 psi is a good starting point.

How do you set up the T-piece??? I got a quote on a malpassi for about $140 good price?

Hey mate, The filter with built in pressure reg is also used on later model commodores AFAIK.

To set up the malpassi, add a t-piece in the line between your fuel pump and injector rail, then from there go into the pressure reg, then from the reg back to the fuel tank.

......Fuel pump-Tpiece-Injection rail
.........................I
Return to tank-Regulator

Is that what you mean with Tpiece? Do you know what model commo has the filter with the regulator in it? I might look in to that.

Malpassi regs are not good for consitant fuel pressure. Use an Aeromotive or a Sard. You can set them up like the factory with atmospheric reference or MAP reference with a return line but it requires changes in software relative to injector flow rates. Set pressure to 4 Bar.

Not sure what the atmosperic reference or MAP reference does? I have already got the malpassi on order so I hope its not to bad... Probably another silly question but setting the pressure rate. How do I do that or am I going to need a special gauge on the end of the fuel rail to get the right pressure?
