big diff for a weak chassic.
might find putting sierra cab on partol chassic easier and better in the long run

I know of a couple of cars that have been built with GQ diffs, but they were running 38" tyres +

Personally, I'd run a mile from GQ front radius arms - the front of GQ's can't flex with stock arms - there's no way a sierra will flex them.

As for leaf rear - you're already going in for a lot of work - trying to control axlewrap with such a heavy diff and such a light car on top (meaning a very low spring rate) will be a nightmare. I'd be looking at using those front GQ radius arms in the rear to increase roll stiffness , or maybe Range Rover arms - they are better designed.

In any case GQ diffs are very heavy and very wide, and will massively reduce your ground clearance (especially with radius arms under the front too) They are strong, for sure, but they're also designed for carrying lots of weight, and that's not required in a sierra.

Personally, if you want big diffs under a sierra with coils, I'd be using range rover diffs with 4.7 gearsets in them. They are about the same width, have better suspension design, much smaller pumpkins, are lighter, and also quite cheap.

Just my 2C.

they are all good points.

I have a gq already and can get good flex out of the front. Flex isnt everything but. Locker make life easy with out flex.

As for price I got front diff for $150 and rear for nicks so cant complain there. hence why using these.

thanks for the input but appricated.
