hey fellas... i'm stumped... i cant figure out how to get the flywheel off. no matter how hard i attempt to turn the bolts, i cant get them to loosen up. even had some muscle help me out and attempt to turn the crank the opposite direction. no luck. i'm afraid of stripping the bolts and i cant do that. is it jus on there with a real high torque requirement or is it counterscrewed or what? i cant figure it out. help pls!

They will be right hand thread (normal thread direction - anti clockwise to undo) but yes will be torqued high. Make up a tool that uses the holes where the clutch bolts to on the flywheel. A piece of 1" x 1" box tube about 2' long drill holes to suit the holes on the flywheel clutch mounting bolts, screw in some long bolts, and then go for it. You can then use the same tool to retorque them up later, using a good torque wrench of course, with a bit of oil on the threads and under the bolt head, wipe off any excess oil once bolts are tight.

you can also loosen things up with a bit of a hit with a hammer. this can damage the top of the bolt, but it can help.

They are high torque bolts, so they will be in there tight. Even get the use of impact rattle gun, should get them off eventually.
