Anyone fitted a Bosch (or other) ignition coil to replace the original transformer type in the bundy? If so what part number and any installation problems?

Toyota are asking $165 for the std unit which I hear is a very low output unit.

just the coil or the transistor pack as well? ANY 12v coil should work fine, do not use a 8v (resistor) coil, it will burn out fairly quickly.
