Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have a new Garmin nuvi 1390 which seems to be turning itself off, only near speed camera's (fixed ons including red light).

have done a bit of search of the net and some garmin gps do seem to have a problem of powering themselves down. But mine seems only to be doing near fixed speed camera's and it will consistly switch off at the same ones

it is still under warranty so i can take it back. but will a new one do the same? Anybody have any ideas?

sounds like the speed camera alert is calling a routine that the firmware doesnt quite understand and its lights out. Check for firmware updates and if there isnt anything yet, take it back.

Thanks mate! downloaded the updates and seems to have fixed it. Thought i had already downloaded all the updates but i hadn't. all seems to be good now. cheers
