V8 exhaust clearance

hi guys, i have recently finished doing an engine conversion on my gq, im running a holden v8 with hsv extractors. have just taken it out for the first time on the weekend and noticed while workin it hard on the dunes the front diff imparticular the flange the tail shaft bolts onto is hittin the exhaust, is this a common problem?? how did you solve it?? would love to hear your advice, apart from that everything ran sweet no problems at all and very happy with how it went. massive difference over the 6
