Heaps of threads on this subject mate, try a search.
Probably a 12 or 13inch shock. Roughly 820 open & 500 closed. If you go any bigger you will have to modify your mounts. I have those size shocks in my rear with 6inch springs & 37's with no bumps but i should have but i have a ute. Id say you would probably need about a 100mm bump stop spacer not 100% on that. Cheers Loz.

yer mate carried out few searches but nothing telling me exactly what i what.. 50mm lowered bump stop should be enough as can still fully flex but even with cut back guards, still get some rubbing.. so only need a bit extra to get me out of guards..
had a quick look at the new rancho xl they look alright, but didnt like old ranchos though.

take the shocks off, ramp it, measure fully extended and fully compressed and buy to suit
btw, shocks are not going to increase your flex unless the shocks are a limiting factor which is probably unlikely

once you have worked out what height you want the car at (6") then mesure from mounting point to mounting point. You then what a shock length to suit, so that the shock is in the middle of its stroke at rest. Then once you have the shock you want, work out how much you have to extend your bump stops. I have a 4" lift and needed to extend my bump stops 50mm with my shocks.
