gti motor not running great

hey i recently put a gti motor in my 96 coily and now its started blowing smoke wen you rev it out and idles funny any answers?? or help

white smoke= water/moisture in fuel
blue smoke=oil burning (rings or valve stem seals)
black smoke= fuel means its overfueling

are you runing the std gti computer?
if so is the speed sensor wired up to it ?
if its not it can couse all sorts of weird this to happen

where abouts is the speed sensor and wats it look like?
