Lastest '09 sinCab 4wd Hilux Brake Pad issues??

Hi all
Interested in buying the last 4wd Hilux sinCab..just wanted to get some opnions and clarifications on whether people had been experiencing any dramas with the brake pads wearing prematurely as I was told the the early '05 models did have that issue...is this true?
Any info on this woul dbe great appreciated!
