to recon or not ?

hey ppl hope u can help ive got a tb42 carb model motor for nothing from a mate as he put a vh5 in his GQ . I got the head reconed came up good no cracks so should b ok but im in 2 minds whether i should hone rering and put new bearings in, the motor ran good didnt blow smoke or use oil has 250 on the clock whats your thoughts ROD

Do it, piece of mind in the long run. You wont be so concerned about it blowing up once you've turboed in and blow your mate with his new motor into the weeds

you can get a hole rebuild kit for $1500 and that come with everything mate.ando

forget the guys name but theres a guy on ebay selling full rebiult kits for bout 1200 nd there are pretty good by the looks nd he knows what hes talkin bout. he quoted me 850ish for a full rebiuld minus pistons and cam bearings.
