suspension questions:

im seriously considering on buying some 2" leafs that have good flex off a fellow outer limiter however im wondering (1) what else will i need to mod/buy if i fit it with 2" shackles? and (2) will i be able to fit 33" tires with a 50mm body lift as well?

mate, ive only got a 2inch body lift and im running 35s and they only rub on the back of the inner guard under full flex. with a 2inch spring lift you should have no dramas at all running 33s or 35s. if the springs that you are buying are from the same model lux, then it should be a straight swap over.
good luck

if i put 2" shackles with the 2" leafs will i need to get extended brake lines ...and do anything with steering like lift the arms up?

yeah you will need to get extended brake lines, just get rubber ones made up. and with your upper brake lines and clutch lines, lift the bonnet and where the lines leave the master cylinder, and the clutch fluid bottle, the lines should be wound up like a coil, just unwind a bit until you have enough length in the lines. but do it very carefully.
i have arnie arms of steel steering(not power steering) so my steering is the same.
when i fitted my body lift, i had to trim a bit off the fan shroud, and i little bit out of where the gearstick is as 2nd gear, 5th gear and reverse would be a bit dodgy, but apart from that, thats about it.
good luck with it all mate

Hes not doing a body lift from what he said so there's no cutting or unwinding brake lines.

Yes you'll need longer brake lines if you wanna improve your brakes while your at it get braided lines made up and the steering might be sweet or you'll probably need an adjustable torque rod and dropped drag link but you might get away with it as is i dunno.

You'll fit 33's may rub a tiny bit if you dont move your diff forward but theres to many variables

Anyway all been covered 100000000000000 times so look it up.

There's no vehicle listed, but given the talk of leaf springs I'm guessing the "110" bit of the OP's name isn't Land Rover based.

From the answers given, I'm guessing it's a Hilux?

Either way, how is this "General"? Why is it not in the Toyota section?
