Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Iam havin trouble with the drivers side rear indicator. I have gone and bought a new bulb but when i put it on it only blinks very dimly aswell as the side one and the light in the dash also you can not even see the bulb workin through the cover its that dim any ideas would be appreciated cheers Glen

At a guess, a high resistance joint. The extra resistance is limiting the current.

If it's affecting multiple blinkers I would suspect the problem is on the supply side, rather than earth.

To locate the problem, try to measure the voltage on both sides of the globe. This could be a problem with a digital meter, as it may not respond fast enough - in which case, you'll need either an analogue meter, or a more expensive digital with a built-in bar-graph display.
