i ran them before with a simple both on or off via a switch in the cab. I now want to run them like they do from the factory, one or both.
I went to pick and payless and stripped the front wiring out of a EL falcon. The thermo relays are near LHS head light and runs to RHS fuse box and uses 1 Yellow wire.
spent 1.5 stripping and sorting the wiring loom out. I still couldnt quite work out how it. i found this link from a ford forum to help me out.

Is good now. Ford factory connectors and wiring from relays to fans, relay to fuse block. all i need to modify is how im going to switch them. ford switch there relays via earthing points, so 1 ign signal wire should run it then i need to play with the earths to get desired results.
Okay, so im now left with 2 earths and plan to run them through a temp switch like the link showed. Million dollar q is how to include the aircon to fire 1 or 2 ( which ya reckon) fans, and how to put in a manual on switch inside cab. I was thinking along the lines of simply piggy back the earth wire to the switch in the cab and work something out from the aircon signal wire.
Would this work ok?
Is it worth doing a rig build up to show how it works. Its only a MQ patrol so wont be too spectacular anyway?
