				**Finally**Twister Arms

				Hi all
I have a coilly zook and I am always looking at ways of getting the most from its suspension (aint we all).
Anyway I came across these twister arms fitted to a Jimny in the UK. I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with them over here.
They couldn't be too hard to get made up and would work a treat under my Coilly, I'm guessing. Stop from breaking trailer arms and mounts.
See em here

Sorry Mate
Bit slow on the uptake sometimes...didn't realise who was asking questions.....thought it was two blokes talkin off topic

Thinkin might buy the snake racing bodylift kit .....Engineers are frowning on RHS bodylifts I am told.......God only knows why.
Just put in s3 rockhopper but my suspension is dissapointing because I put polyurethene bushes in the 'trailing arms' still thinking on a solution.

No breaks but a slight curve to one.Had to straighten it in a press
I do know that this is a very weak component though and reakon those twister arms, although a little ruff, could be extremely good. I have been talkin to the guy in UK that owns the Jimny in the links above and he swears by them.

Do you own a zook?

Yea a 96 coily , haven't broken any arms or mounts yet but I have reinforced the arms a little , still trying to come up with some type of pivot bush for the body end of the arms.

Wen i had the zook i bent 1 bout 20 deg ..............didnt bother straighten it and then snapped 1 clean in half ( it was out where we saw u that day Heath but further up turned into a latish night luckily i had been out the previuos weekend and had taken my spare arm ..of which i hadnt taken out .......................
The new owner broke a mount off the diff bout a week or two later...................after buyin it

It would be a good idea to strengthen the diff mount end of the links just a peice of 3mm to the sides and also brace ..................

What were those supa roo bushes worth? They must be heaps softer rubber than the polyurethene bushes I put in, I'm getting absolutley no travel.
Do you personally think 3" lift is too high for the coilly zook.
Heath
ps That avatat you have with your mav where is that track?

i attacked the rubber bushes on the chassis end with a drill to soften them and allow them to twist a bit better. just drilled 'em top and bottom to stop the axle moving back and forward too much
but yeah the bollocks will transmit plenty of vibes with urethane bushes, i would have thought they'd be okay with the standard rubber
