Hi All,
just wondered if anyone has run the above size tyre on their 4Runner/Surf? If so, does it stick out beyond the fiberglass arches? - as this is something I want to avoid.
Thank you!
Harv.

Yep they do.
I just used some black bunnings garden edging plastic, easy to fit, hardly noticable, engineerable (tyres.)

They stick out but only just, these are on a -28 offset
Not as much as they stick out on a navara though
The tires on my runner probably stick out about 10mm past the flares, which isn't too bad, but they do throw mud and crap all over the side of the car, so bunnings flares are advised.
Cheers

Thanks folks.
Thinking about it further, I'll either end up with 32x11.50x15 or graduate to 16" and put 285's on.... that way they won't stick out but still be larger than 31's which is what i'm after.

33x12.5s on 15x10's with -50mm offset. Hanged a fair bit out.
Best pic I've got of 33x12.5s on 15x8's with Cruiser offset (-30mm). Only just outside the flares.

Im thinking about putting my 33's on my dual cab trayback gen3 work lux. the manual 3RZ gearing sucks. Revs at 3k at 100kph...
15x8's with i think -11 offset.
Is this a bad idea with no lift? IE would it rub to the shthouse?
Its pretty much only road driven. (sorry for highjack).

Dee, they may rub on the sway bar, but should clear the rest ok.
I had the problem of rubbing the sway bar when running the 35s on 17x9s and -12mm offset.

reading this... and thinking that the std Toyota wheels are 15x7JJ with a -8 offset, it should actually be possible to have the 33's without them sticking out then? If I understand correctly the greater the 'minus' figure is for the offset, the more the wheels stick out??

another yes haha. mine do by about an inch or so. flexy flares fix the problem though.
