where to mount my surge tank

hey
i got a surge tank for my sierra and im looking for a place to mount it. any ideas would be great.

Anywhere it'll be gravity feeding into your High pressure pump.

what if i build a full stainless shield with a stainless frame over it. which will be completly sealled from inside the car

even with it sealed the fuel smell is normally very strong still.

o ok. i was thinking of sealing it with foam tape and stuff.
also i dont think you can fit it under neath, ive already got one and its got a base on the bottom. so it has to stand up

Have a look at the dead space in front of the back axle but behind the cab mount crossmember. You might be able to mount it there. You don't want it inside the car.

Sounds like the surge tank I was looking at putting in mine. I could not for the life of me find a place I was happy with, so gave up and went with an in tank swimmer pump (factory Vitara).
Not allot of help sorry...

You can buy upsidedown surge tanks. They screw straight up into the floor. About 500ml. I will grab the contact details off the sticker on mine tomorrow night if you still don't have a solution by then.
