Clutch Question (FJ40 V8 conversion)

Hi all
I'm currently in the middle of converting a FJ40 to a holden 308 v8, and i was wondering if there are any problems withusing the OEM thrust bearing with the new holden clutch.
The diameter of the OEM clutch thrust bearing/ throw out bearing (where it contacts the pressure plate) is slightly larger than the holden, but is the same length. The other problem with the holden thrust bearing is that its internal spline diameter is slightly narrower than the gearbox input shaft.
Using the OEM clutch thrust bearing/ throw out bearing also means that i can the use the existing clutch fork, so it would be preferable to use it, I'm just wanting to find out whether there are any problems that may be caused from doing so.
