Check all of your fuses in the kick panels

Mine blew a fuse after I damaged the trailer socket.
From memory it was a 15A fuse.

After you replace the fuse you may have to disconnect the battery for a minute....something to do with resetting the computer.

Is it a 100 series with 1hdfte or a 105 with 1hz?

most likely cause is the alternator brushes full of mud or corrosion inside the alternator
was the water u went thru muddy or clean ?
was there any salt in the water?

best thing to do is get your garden hose and run it thru the alternator tapping it with something
as soon as u can
if this does not work you will need to remove the alt and disassemble
as it could be the voltage reg or brushes
i have had a diode pack corrode which caused a failure as well

as was said, will more than likely be that ur alternator is not charging....
