Tacho interface for VS V6 Commo in 91 4 runner

Gday,
Got a Tacho interface from v6 conversions at moree and i have hooked everything up as per instructions but it does not tell me which wire to put the output of the interface to on the 4 runner. I have looked over the wiring diagram for the 4 runner and i think it is a green wire but the one i thought it was does not work. I don't want to stuff anything so was wondering if anyone out there knew what wire i need to put it too and where the best place to find it in the 4 runner loom is.
Any help appreciated.
