gq lwb rear windows

hey just brought a gq and it has rusted all the rear window frames out and seals are no good, any one converted them to single windows and if so what did you need to get for the conversion

i got a quote and you can buy the rubbers and fit your slide windows into them i think they where around 230 per side if you want ive got 2 original ones that have stuff all rust if you want them you can have them both for 150

i think i i will convert them to single windows because im going to build this car right up and i dont want to do it again later on and i dont need to open no window in the back.

if you get good window frames they will last 15yrs.

i have a set out of an mq wagon in mine. they go straight in. use the mq windows and rubbers.

Just buy a set of GQ or MQ solid windows and you will never have the issue again to find a set ring around the wreaking yards or keep an eye on ebay and outerlimits.

i have one lwb solid window and seal out of my wreck, you could have it if you wernt so far away, i have perspex windows in my shorty, shit, scratches up really easy and looks crap, i wana do something custom with mine, was thinking checkerplate aluminium on hinges and gas struts, but thats getting a bit carried away

i think i might buy some single piece windows and frame with rubbers,
next thing what is the go with the front window leaking water are all the window seals on these things shit

ive got the same problem, and iam going to be re-spraying my MK in the next month or so, my split window rubbers/metal inserts are absolutely gone, so if anyone has them lying around, id love to have them. Ill chuck ya a case of beer and pay for postage.
