Hey guys,
Picking up some standard GQ Coils for the paj tomorrow and hopefully 4 x RS9000XL Rancho adjustables on saturday! When swapping these over do i need to think about brake line extensions or bump stop extensions? or is this only when using HD GQ Coils and longer shocks???

Mmmm, not sure, Theres a thread in the Gen2 section of the paeroclub forum though by a bloke who did it to his NJ LWB.
OT, but what brand is your winch bar mate? Looking at getting one for my nj shortie.

Definitely not on the front.
Not on the rear of a lwb the centre brake line is long enough for a 2-3" lift not 100% sure on a swb though.

Just speaking to Rancho just wanted to ask peoples experience with using standard height GQ springs, do you need longer than standard shocks? The pajero RS9000XL shock is not larger than standard as this suits 40mm lifts just fine? But with the GQ springs wont I be looking at closer to 50-60mm lift? Therefore the shock may overextend???

i know a mate of mine runs 2" extended lux shocks in his to combat the extra lift/gain a tad more flex

I run 3" longer rancho shocks in mine with the pootrol springs. Get great artic but i did have to extend the brake line with the longer shocks.

So i bailed on the GQ springs and went with Pedders raised springs with the RS9000XL's, bolted it all on, on sunday! Looks great! Went out to test it and the flex is fantastic, love the softness of the Ranchos on their softest setting but on hard setting they keep it tight on the road (rear swaybar disconnected)
However, when on full compression the shock binds on the control arm, now my nice new shocks have little marks on the side, nothing to bad but I wasnt pushing it and i am worried I will severly dent them in the future, I was thinking of extending upper bump stop to limit up travel and stop this binding, has anyone had this issue before?

GQ coils and longer shocks will need longer brake lines as i have these on mine (LWB). My shocks bind on the control arms too, but it only seems to be on the top half/metal sleeve. I thought Ranchos have a rubber boot so this problem wouldn't occur? Space out your bump stops too, so your new shocks don't become your new bumpstops..
