G'day,

looking at going EFI and wondering what i need for the metal fuel lines?

Will the original Deisel metal line from the tank be fine? Are EFI metal lines any different from carby metal lines?

I know all the rubber ones on the high pressure side need to be replaced with EFI rated hose.

What about the return line rubber hoses? Does this need to be EFI rated also?

Can a standard carby metal fuel line suffice for the return line?

Thanks for the help.

I don't know what the legalities are but as far as it actually working... the metal lines should be steel and they should be more than adequate for EFI as long as they aren't too small and hence restrictive.

The return line will not see the pressure that the line to the rail will see so it doesn't need efi hose.

A suggestion for what it's worth, use proper EFI hose clamps as well, not ordinary hose clamps.

With going from diesel to efi petty do you need to put in a fuel vapour line with a carbon canister? Or is that not really that important? If so can just a rubber vacuum line be used or does it have to be fuel hose?
