93 hilux

gday fellas, im a patrol man myself....but im goin with my sister in law to look at a 93 dual cab hilux (LN130 i believe????) 2.8TD. lifted with reasonable rubber....not exatly sure of what....she is female and cant describe real well.

just wondering on common faults anyone could let us know.

im a diesel mechanic by trade so i kow whats what, but just wondering on common model faults if possible.

didnt you hear, hilux's are unbreakable. nothing to worry about

Biggest thing is service history, the 2.8 needs oil changes every 5000km's. As for faults check the swivel hubs for leaks and make sure the gearbox is smooth especially 1st and 3rd. Check for rust obviously and have a good look at the tray as this will tell you what sort of life it has had previously. Pretty sure that will be a LN106 as well. They are a great truck, ive had mine for a year and it has been faultless.
