Just wondering wat people have done to secure their spacecases tool boxes to the back of their utes etc as I am a little hesitant in drilling threw it due to their cost and also water ingress
cheers Heath

Just drill them and bolt with mud guard washers.

dont know about the rest of you, but i have thousands of dollars worth of tools in mine. therefore rachet straps or turnbuckles just arent enough.
i have 2 1100x550x450 both secured by 4, 1/2 inch stainless bolts and 2 inch washers. dont ever get any water inside and i use the handles as tie down points when i need them.
i was never concerned about drilling through my boxes as a little silicone and the hole is gone. plus it really is the only way to attach a toolbox properly.
i have a 550x550x350 as my recovery gear and offroad tools toolbox and have it screwed on using 4 20mm tek screws. again, no water or dust in, doesnt move and has been used as a tie down point.... as a roofer, tek screws are my favorite for this stuff as if you get really stuck they can be used to fix shit too.

sweet, ill come round with my angle grinder later
Mine are bolted down with 4 x 12mm bolts with a nut held captive on the underside of the frame, there is then a 4mm flat plate between each set of two bolts and silicon for waterproofing.

its a space case, all you need is a pri bar for the hinges or buckles.
