Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Just thought i would warn anyone in Mackay that is looking to get a tune done on their diesel to do their home work first. A mate recently had his patrol ute by a turbo shop in mackay ( I won't publicly name them but if you want to know more PM me) The Tune which he paid close to 2k on consisted of a "bigger Turbo" turned out to be a denco factory replacement... disconnected the waste gate, wound up the fuel and advanced the pump. no dyno, no egt. after all this he wasn't happy with the power so he took it elsewhere and had it dynoed.. was found to be getting 84rwkw with boost in excess of 20psi and egts around the 600 mark.. needless to say he was not happy.

Eveready Technologies/HDT Shop know their stuff. Done good on dad's 05 STR and about to get my 99 Patrol for a play around

yeah.. he has since taken it to them... they told him it was a time bomb and wouldn't even let him take it out of the shop
