just in middle of changing my diff gears (front at moment) and just saw a product that replaces the brake backing plate. I can't see why we'd need them but they must be there for a reason. can anyone tell me if i should piss em off or not? now is the time to leave the off i can, and make or buy some spacers to go back in. Tell us ur thoughts plz

if you do alot of playing on rocks etc they bend and hit your rotor causing a scraping noise when your driving home or hold a heap of mud in them i've run none on mine for a year ar so now and the rors have been hitting rock etc and haven't grooved them so i'd say do it

Yeah i was thinking of doing that. just want to make sure its all good before i go hacking them to bits. I just don't understand why they would be there when it seems better to leave them off.

if you have to go over the pits you will have to put them back on.... (not very likely)

But if you cut them down saves spending money for nothing .... Any way lux spares are cheap and easy to get any way....
