leave it off? :?

Might save breaking something you can't replace. Just use a decent synthetic oil and you'll never have any worries (remember not all Ferozas had them standard anyway). It gets up to over 40 degrees celcius where I live and I've never had any problems.

so what exactly is the advantage of the oil cooler anyways? its hooked up to the same radiator and uses the same coolant... dont really gain much there.. but if it had its own radiator and coolant.. i could some advantages coming from that.... :? correct me if i'm wrong. i may just leave it off... but now how do i plug up the hose that runs to the oil cooler?

Hey PV,

get two NUTS that will screw onto the thread that the oil filter screws onto. Do the first one up, then tighten the second one right up alongside it sothey LOCK together. Then get a spannet onto the inner one and the whole lot will screw straight out.

The oil cooler will reduce the temp of the oil quite considerably, don't forget the coolant is only at about 82 deg Celcius, whereas the oil can be well over 100 deg celcius.......
