Hi to the forum , does any know what the maximum lift you can get engineered in both Tasmania and ACT. I currently have a 6 inch lift in NSW on a LWB GQ and will be moving to either Tasmania and ACT next year with work.
Thanks in advance.

Highest you can currently go in the ACT is 4" lift.

If its engineered in one state, most of the time regardless of individual state rules, they will let it pass and be registered as is.
This happens in WA, currently our DPI have a case of Extreme retardation and have a nothing over 50mm limit, however i have two mates who went over east and brought a GQ and GU both with 6" lifts and both engineered over east and they past our pit inspection no problems.

Don't think so mate, I know countless people who have bought cars engineered/regoed interstate and had major hassles trying to get them regoed in ACT. Normally they have to get them re-engineered here, its all a load of shit.

Tassie recognises all engineering certificates and will transfer straight over.
