Well some of you may or may not already know.....
I broke the rear CW&P out ormeau today :x FARKEN POS

Ok all this talk about 10spliner axle bein weak is confusing as I have the original front axles and CVs out and they are in perfect condition - and 100 dollars says the rear axles will be absolutely sweet aswell :?

Do you guys/girls reacon that they broke cause there old and fatigued and after replacing the rear it should be all good and they should last alot longer OR ARE THE STANDARD ROVER CW&P THAT FARKEN WEAK...... :?:

The stock crown and pinion are fairly strong and would doubt that you could break a good condition set with the stock 10 spliners.

Basically yours just fell off - its a fatigue thing and it will happen again eventually.

But I would just replace it and you should be good to go for a long time but just dont be too surprised when it breaks again.

You just need to look at what you did to break it. If it broke doing something fairly easy then its just fatigue and you have to live with it but if it broke bouncing on rocks at full noise then you should think not to do that again cause its hard on the gear. Also you should be very carefull towing anybody out that is stuck. This is probably the easiest way to be very hard on the rear diff.

Thanks Sam, I did ponder my actions but I still think it let go pretty easy, as I did mention I drive like a fairy and the only reason I gave it some was to make sure I got out on the 4th attempt - I wasnt on rock I was at the top off the second steep climb comin out of the creek bed and had to give it abit to drag my diff up the end as the drivers side rut was about 1foot deeper than my wheels could reach (due to diffin up) and I think its when that rear wheel final got to the top and hit the flat ground it grabed and spat out my rear CW&P :D

For them that are asking it was not the new maxi rear I broke it was my original rear so the news wasnt all that bad just abit dissapointing as I wanted to stick around abit longer :D Surfections Maxi rear will be put in the next week and hopefully it bein in a better condition will last abit longer :D

All in all I am very happy with my POS and for an unlocked RR though it did very well :D  :D RANGIES RULE and break alot
