Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Ok. im thinking about putting a turbo on My 4.8 Gu ...... Does anyone no wher to get a manifold from.. And feed back on this would alos be great ..

OnTrack in Melb (Kealba) have done a couple. I cant remember if they made them themselves or imported a manifold from UEA or Saudi etc.

What are you up to this time Darren, you're always building new trucks. Is this one for street or comp?

Someone said try PGS in Mornington Melbourne about your turbo setup., I am thinking about doin it to mine, Do you know roughly how much? how do you go about the computer side of things, ? and whats your 4.8 like on juice, mine is a shocker, never seen anythin like it, but goes good,cheers

There's plenty of places out there that do turbo kits for the 4.8's
Ontrack 4x4
PGS 4WD Accessories
Even Capa have had a go http://capa.com.au/turbo_kits_petrol.htm (4th one down the page)

Hell even our (rockhampton people's) local ARB owns two 4.8L turbo cars.

Motec M800 of Autronic SM4 for the ECU if you want to do it right.

Manifolds would also be available from these places or just get a boiler maker to make your own tubular exhaust manifold

I beleive mike from on and offroad mechanical has done a 4.8

i know he has done quiet a few 4.2's now

Pretty sure his a 3.0L RB30 motor, which came out in turbo form in vl's.
