longfield cv problem

got an odd problem that keeps occuring with my 80 series cruiser, the longfirelds in the front keep seperating as in pulling the axle out of the birfield, its happened about 6 times now and no matter what i do i cant stop it.

ive changed the iner circlip heaps of times, got another mechanic mate to put them together still seperate, ive run them with spacers on the hub and outer circlips and ive run them without.

i havent contacted longfield yet, ive been thinking of sending them to a driveshaft specialist and getting a bigger grove machined inside the birfield to stop them seperating,

what does everyone think?

Do they have a martack at the diff end of the axel? Perhaps the axel to sliding too far inside the centre and allowing it to part company with the CV?

If there isn't one try doing one and see if that helps.
