gu steering box

are all gu steering boxes the same? im looking at doing the upgrade on my gq and have fount a series 3 gu box out of a 3ltr is this a good thing?

they are all the same yes mine come from an 06 model Patrol, You just need to get an aftermarket draglink (GU box to GQ diff if you still run GQ diffs like me)

cheers ive got a hd steering arm on it so its all good in that aspect thanks

The tapers are different in the rod ends, so you need to change the one at the steering box end.
I use a snake steering arm, so just ordered a GU end to replace the GQ one.
