hey mate, ive got a thread in general tech, titled pics needed of king pin bearings, go in there, someone posted up a couple of real easy to follow guides on rebuilding axles/hubs.
theres one on page 1 and three more on page 2.

one thing i will tell you though, there is a 54mm locknut inside the hub that needs to come off, actually i think its 2
a 54mm tube socket/tube spanner is what you are after. there is an ebay link in my thread, click on that, thats what youre after. their phone number is at the bottom of the ebay page, ring them, they are in brissy but for an extra 3bucks, theyll express post it to you.

just finished doing mine. ide never done them before but hey u not gunna know how to do it without giving it a go. i used the kit off loctup4x4. have a look on their website u can get a kit for the whole job wheel bearing all seals, shimms, gaskets, hub bearings everything you will need to do the job they also come with the really good marlin crawler axle seals definately worth their money as this is the weak point in most hiluxes. if your unsure get yourself a good workshop manual definatly worth their money. thats all i used. oh and prepare to make a nice mess plenty of oily and greasy parts. grab yourself a heap of rags before you start the job. definatly recommend the locktup rebuild kit. hope all that helped and have fun

Mate, get some safety glasses, and go down to a car wash place, and hit the front hubs till they have no more mud gunk on them.
Will make it a whole lot easier to follow above info.
