Bumped my front panhard agaisnt a Rock while coming down off maybe a 30cm drop. Rookie error. Now it looks like a banana. Rang a supplier for tough dog to see if they warrent bending. Again rookie error. Does anyone know of a panhard I can buy that can withstand more then a pebble? No offence to tough dog, I like most of ur stuff but panhards? BOW BOW! Computer says no!

What he said!!

Superiors will probably warranty their chromoly ones for a "you bend em - we'll replace em" warranty.

They certainly have that warranty for their lower trailing arms on the rear and their drag link and tie rods on the front so i cant see why it would not be.

If i every bend mine i will definitely asking the question. But they make just the best kick arse gear, well priced and top notch.

No Hesitation

Yeah had a mate getting tough dog stuff engineered in Vic, when the engineer contacted them to get technical specs for engineering calcs the bloke said they don't do any of that stuff, and that they'd 'been in the business long enough to know what works'.

Engineer said "that's not going to stand up in court", but didn't seem to bother them.

Passed engineers test in the end, but of course took longer.

xMORE on superior gear.

Anyone know what Tuff Turd rods are made from? Sounds like it bent just as easily as my factory Nissan one did.....to date Im still unsure whether there was any steel in it!

I have superior eng tie rod and drag link on my GQ, I bent the tie rod by driving on wheel into a rut and puting the rod on a nice bit tree. (wasn't dropped on it from any height)
They have the same warranty policy as tough dog when it comes to bending.

Next time i'll be buying the cromo one and not the mecaval one.
On the plus side the replay to my email inquiry was prompt and they offered to straighten the rod if i sent it back to them. I'll save my self the postage and put it in the press at work.

well they are goldy coloured so I'd say they are made of ferrerro roche's wrappers and poo. Mixed with air.

In some ways it's better for something to "give" than to be so rigid that force gets transferred to more vital parts of the car
