just bought my first diesel and am very happy with it.
already running top mount shwartzer turbo 10PSI, bit of an exhaust not sure what though. looking to get a little more out of her. thinking front mount, snorkel and up the boost a little. Been told thaat these motors (4.2) can handel 15PSI no worries is this true? also any other mods to get more out of it without getting to involved like cracking open heads.
Main thing is im looking for a good tune shop to do the unpgrades and give her a dyno tune for me. can anyone recomend a good shop in bris prefferably bay side.

I'd give AMMS at Sandgate a try...
http://www.amms.net.au/
My old man took his GU there and they did a great job.

i would NOT go to amms. They dont stick to quoted prices and the quality of the work is very poor to say the least.

I was told a price for a diesel pump that could handle high horse power but received a rebuilt na pump. Not what i was told i would get for the money i paid. Then when i came to pick up my car i was given the wrong keys. I told them they are the wrong keys, they continued to argue with me saying they are the right ones. in the end they went and checked there security cameras and yes i was right. Then got my car home and found out that they had left the boost line to the controller of the turbo so i was running 18 pound on a standard engine. Phoned them up and told them i was not happy basiclly told that is how it is. I have since received a phone call from the owner of amms asking me why i have been writing these things on this forum about them. I told him the story and he said well that matches what we have on your job sheet. He then said we ****** up but thats how it is. I also know of a few other people that have gone there and had similar proplems. eg. radiator lines hitting fan after turbo conversion. Now if they had given me the service i asked for i would be on here telling you how good they are. Unfortunatly not how it is. It just my opinion but i would NEVER go there or recommend them to anyone.

I was going to get my car tuned there but that is the second comment I have heard that was negative about AMMS. I think I might try somewhere else.
Thanks for the tip.
