Brake Rotors

Brake Rotors
i think i need new front rotors on my car cause as i pull up at lights it tends to pulse in braking speed. I looked up the DBA site and they make the slotted and the slotted/cross drilled rotors for the front. Does anyone have any experience with changing rotors or DBA stuff?

Yeh ive used DBA rotors on a fair few of my cars and have come to the conclusion that your best bet is to use the slotted rotors. The slotted an X drilleds tend to crack after a while and being a 4WD driven thru alot of different conditions from hot to cold it could increase the chance of cracking.
While u are at it u can repack ya bearings.

I am of the school of thought that unless you are using them on a race car, slotted and or cross drilled rotors, are worthless.
They just remove material from the rotor, bad in my opinion.
The cross drilled ones need to be chamfered right, or they crack around the holes.
And both the slotted and drilled ones plug up with mud anyways.
I personally like the stock over any aftermarket here in the US. The rears are another story.... I dont think they are vented, so slotted might make a differnce there...

Checkout http://www.discpads.com they are the DBA online supplier, then go to a local mechanics workshop or brake place and say i want these discs and get them to better the price that is on discpads.com. If you know someone who has a workshop that would be even better as u can get em in for trade price, forget about RIPCO they have a huge markup on discs.
