Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi
Can you fit a gearbox from a 2.7 litre petrol and bolt it up to a 5L 3 litre diesel??? try to seach but with no luck

I think the gearbox cross member is different or in a different location or something. 2.7 are a w56 I think a better option would be a surf R150F bigger stronger gearbox and will bolt up to 5L.

yes they run w56's, w58's are another step up in strength, but i really dont see someone breaking a w56 with the ball breaking torque/power of the 5l.

You'll need to change bellhousings, or try and swap someone your 3rz box for a 5l one, which are chain driven if that matters.

You'll need to change bellhousings youll need a 5l bellhousing which will bolt to the box and inturn bolt to the motor.
