Help plse - wot axles in Chevy Blazer

Mate spotted 70 / 80's style Blazer, burnt top half but axles OK because the tyres are not damaged. Not sure of exact model tho ??
they are pretty wide suckers ?? Dana 44, Dana 60 ????
Hopefully I can get a look at them tomorrow and get a pic.
Dude wants $1000 for the pair, hub to hub plus all steering parts.
Good or bad deal ??
Any help or info appreciated

OK what does that mean ?
Sorry Dude my knowledge of Yank stuff is nix. Are they usefull or no better than Toy axles ??

Sounds like a big K5, prolly D60's.

I would say a 10Bolt or a Dana 44. Similar in strength to a Yota front axle, stock for stock. but can be upgraded beyond a yota easily, with alloy shafts and CTMs.
Unless its a D60, then just get it, in fact, if your interested in turniong a profit and selling it, I might want to buy it.

i have a dana 44 front diff out of a k20 chev, rh drop, can swap over the 10 bolt knuckles, if you get the blazer stuff, and if it is a weaker 10 bolt. the knuckles are a direct swap over. it is 4.56 ratio.

the blazer will have 3.08, or 3.8 something, it won't be as high as 4:1 in the diffs.
anyhows, im thinking 10bolt front, 10 bolt rear, maybe a 12 bolt corporate, might have a LSD rear

I took the picture machine out and got some, but stupid I was and left the USB cable at work
Anyway I can view them on the camera and it looks like 10 bolts front and rear on the covers. I'll send ya the pics tomorrow when I get to work and can suck em off !

Definitely a 10 bolt, probably with 3.08 gears. Your hilux axle is stronger, has better aftermarket support and cheaper parts available locally.
Wish it was a D60, id be organising shipping right now.
